Child Welfare Policy

The National Youth Orchestra of Ireland is committed to a child-centered approach to our work with children and young people. We undertake to provide a safe environment and experience, where the welfare of the child/young person is paramount.

NYOI has a Child Welfare Policy which details a Code of Behaviour for players and staff. A copy of the Child Welfare Policy can be inspected at the NYOI office during office hours. Please contact us if you wish to do so.

Anyone who works with NYOI from tutors and conductors to seasonal and office staff must sign a declaration form stating that they have read, understood and accepted the procedures and Code of Behaviour as set out in the current National Youth Orchestra of Ireland Child Welfare policy.
