Auditions
Auditions for the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland take place once a year. Everyone must audition even if they have been in the orchestra before, this helps to keep our standards high and gives everyone a fresh chance each year.
Audition application forms are available here, on our website, from the beginning of September each year and auditions usually take place in November at the venues listed below. When we receive your application form we send you a set of orchestral excerpts for you to prepare for the audition.
